The excitement was palpable as we awaited the arrival of the Ferrari, which was scheduled to be delivered at 3 PM. However, anticipation turned into anxiety as the delivery time was pushed back repeatedly, finally arriving at 5 PM—just as the sun began to set over Austin. This left us with a precious few minutes to capture the moment, adding an unexpected rush to the shoot.
Learning on the Fly: Dan’s Ferrari Challenge
Upon the Ferrari’s arrival, we encountered another humorous twist: Dan had no idea how to drive his new sports car. The few minutes spent figuring out the controls were tense but filled with laughter. Once he got the hang of it, we had just 10 minutes left before the sun went down. This crunch time turned into one of the most exhilarating shooting experiences I’ve had.
Despite the setbacks and the fading light, the energy and excitement of the moment fueled us.
